As part of our goal in providing the latest and most advanced care in urology, we perform tibial nerve stimulation (neuromodulation) for those patients suffering from overactive bladder, urinary urgency, and urinary frequency. For those patients with prostate cancer looking for alternative treatments, we are one of the select few in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut that can offer HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound). Dr. Blair and Dr. Boczko are pioneers in this innovative, non-intrusive outpatient prostate cancer procedure. HIFU
Both Dr. Boczko and Dr. Blair are proud to be part of a selected group of urologists nationwide who offers HIFU as an alternative treatment for men with prostate cancer. HIFU is a noninvasive outpatient procedure for prostate cancer that uses ultrasound to destroy the cancer cells. This technology has been featured in the NY Times and Best Life Magazine. Our practice offers specialized care using the latest techniques in minimally-invasive, laparoscopic surgery to treat several common urological conditions, including kidney cancer, adrenal cancer, and renal cysts. Our practice offers conservative, medical, and surgical treatment options to our patients. BPH is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland, affecting more than 50 percent of men over the age of 60. As the prostate grows, it presses against and narrows the urethra, causing a urinary obstruction that makes it difficult to urinate. We offer conservative, medical, office-based, ambulatory surgery-based, and traditional surgical options for our patients.
